Betty Swann, mother of two, grandmother of three, has become a world changer changed by the love of Jesus Christ. Raised in the small town of Sweetwater, Texas, and now living in Amarillo, Texas, Betty received a B.S. in Education from Texas Tech University, a M.Ed. from Texas A&M University, was a public school teacher in Texas and a university teacher at Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY. She is an ordained minister through Kingdom Global Ministries.
Betty’s ministry of more than 35 years began by serving the local church as a Sunday School teacher to children, singles, and adults. Her passion for people to know the life-changing power of Jesus has given her a strong commitment to minister to people in need from the jail cell to the “girls on the street", from the country club to political heads of state. She knows no boundaries as she speaks the liberating truth of God's love in people’s lives and how to live with that love in everyday life. What compels her to leave the comforts of professional life to minister worldwide is her desire to see any person improve in all areas of life because of the power of the Holy Spirit. She is direct in her approach and sensitive in her heart. Men and women, young and old, are challenged to a new level when they encounter Jesus Christ through her ministry. Lives are changed as they encounter the power of God. He is able to change anyone to the uttermost. PRAISE HIS NAME FOREVER!
Serving on staff as Minister of Women’s Ministries at Trinity Fellowship Church, Amarillo, Texas, a 6000-member church, for 7 years qualifies her to speak from a leadership perspective to leaders. She has been on the board of CIS Church Foundation for nine years, a humanitarian aid ministry which takes aid and training to the nations of the former Soviet Union. She has a gift of motivation and instruction that will inspire and challenge leaders to new thought and action.
IFrom 1996-2004, Betty led teams of women to the nation of Belarus, a republic of the former Soviet Union, to train leaders and to establish the concept of women’s ministries in the local churches throughout that nation. She now partners with mission organizations, denominations and churches from other countries around the world in order to reach a multitude of men and women. Betty's heart for the world continues to take her into new ministry ventures. In 2005, she began taking teams to Africa. She continues to speak around the USA also.
