Our Mission at Betty Swann Ministries

We are driven to teach and support people so they may contribute their specific God-given talents to help spread God’s Word, share God’s love, and bless the nations by working to meet their urgent needs. Betty Swann Ministries wants to be part of helping individuals find their God given talents. Through God’s love and guidance we can unite, and use each God-given role to make a difference in this world. No part is too small. It will take all of us to make a difference.

The History of Betty Swann Ministries

1953

Saved at the Sweetwater First Baptist Church

1954

Called to the world twice. I said “no” because I was afraid I would not like it.

1955

Betty had an experience at Girl Scout Camp with God, nature, the moon and stars. She knew from that experience how big and mysterious He was, just like the heathens do.

1970

Baptized in the Holy Spirit, fully committed myself to God and putting Him first n my life above everything else, no matter what it entailed.

1980

Told by the Lord that my real ministry would not begin until my mid-50’s.

1970-1996

Did all kinds of ministry: jail, teens, singles, married couples, and women (Minister of Women at Trinity Fellowship Church)

1996-2018

Released to began missions during a church service at Trinity Fellowship Church in January, 1996. Started ministry to Belarus in August, 2006. Released to minister to world leaders, feeding and educating the poor.

2003

Ordained as a pastor by Kingdom Global Ministries

2003-Present

Started ministering as Betty Swann Ministries

2005

Started my own 501 (C) (3) as Betty Swann Ministries. Set up a seven member board with me as the Founder and President and Bill Swann as the Chairman of the Board. Board members besides us are Sherrye Gugenheim, Judy Fuller King, Connie Sublett, Scott Rosenbach, and Shirley Vernon.

1996-Present

Ministered in 11 countries: 

Belarus, Russia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, East Africa: (Training leaders, working with orphans and lepers) in Kenya, Malawi, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Pakistan (working in the villages with 65,000 people), and France (working with refugees)

1996-Present

Ministered to world leaders in various countries: 

Political candidates: at all levels, including presidential candidates, members of Parliament, government leaders and people working at the United Nations Church leaders:  Bishops and pastors People in the entertainment world:  Actors, singers, musicians, TV personalities, wives of professional football teams Young professional men and women in New York City.

Future young leaders, lepers in Kenya, Muslim and Hindu people groups in Pakistan. Plus feeding and educating the poor in 22 countries.

I have also continued to minister locally to the Body of Christ here in America and am currently a member of Every Nation New York City.

Ministering all over Europe: 

Ministering to refugees and Catholic leaders, starting in Paris. The ministry will be unique, unusual: refugees, social business, sports, and possibly, the Paris Olympics in 2024.
